Big city style with a small town relaxed atmosphere...that describes
Jitters coffeehouse, a boldly decorated coffee shop on Ashley's
Main Street. Grab a seat on the leopard print chair or loveseat
and relax. In fair weather, you can sip coffee at two comfortable
tables out on the sidewalk.
The building is shared by the Ashley Tribune, the oldest business
in town--well over a century, so visitors get to enjoy their coffee
and experience a working newspaper in action. In fact, it is not
at all uncommon for visitors to find themselves being served by
publisher, columnist, and author Tony Bender.
Jitters features all the coffee drinks served by other coffee shops
- only better - plus, a wide variety of Ice Rages and smoothies
to delight grown-up and kid palates.
The coffee shop offers three dozen varieties of Jitters brand coffee
available in bright red, half-pound bags, fresh-roasted in North
Dakota in small batches. Freshness makes all the difference. Most
coffee sets on the shelf for months so coffee drinkers never get
to experience truly fresh gourmet arabica beans roasted to perfection.
Jitters features gifts including locally-produced bead jewelry,
T-shirts, and books by local authors.
